Pastoral Care and Wellbeing
A rigorous pastoral care program is at the heart of wellbeing at Mary’s. Upon enrolment, each student joins a house-based Pastoral Care Group with a dedicated teacher who leads the formation of our students and helps them to respond to their calling.
In addition to a Pastoral Care Teacher, each cohort is guided by a Pastoral Leader, who develops and delivers programs to support our young people at each stage of their development. Along with our Guidance Counsellors, First Nations Education Teacher and Safe People, the Pastoral Care Teachers and Pastoral Leader ensure that our students are seen, heard and welcomed into our community. It is our aim that all students feel that they belong, are able to contribute and are supported to find success in our community.
