Integrated Learning

Our college is committed to providing students with engaging, real-world learning experiences that develop their learning and thinking skills across the curriculum.

To support this, we have implemented an Integrated Learning Program that takes place every Wednesday during Week B. During these integtrated learning sessions, students work collaboratively on interdisciplinary projects that allow them to apply the Australian Curriculum's General Capabilities, including Critical and Creative Thinking, Personal and Social Capability, and Information and Communication Technology Capability. The projects also incorporate the cross-curriculum priorities of Sustainability, Australia's Engagement with Asia, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures.

This integrated approach encourages students to make connections between different subject areas, strengthening their ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively. By bringing together knowledge and skills from various disciplines, students gain a more holistic understanding of the world around them and develop the capacities needed to thrive in our rapidly changing society.
