Tuition Fees

In 2025, the College’s tuition rates are aligned with all Catholic schools in the Townsville Diocese#. (#Does not include Ignatius Park College or St Patrick’s College).  Please contact the college to apply for this discount.

Sibling discounts apply on Tuition fees at 30% for second student, 50% for third student, and 100% for fourth student.  

Statements and Payments

School fees are issued (emailed) each term in week two and are payable on Friday of week six of each respective term. Statement of accounts are emailed out start of each month.  The College encourages paying fees by regular instalments. There is flexibility in determining the interval (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) and number of payments.

We encourage payment by regular instalments that fit comfortably within your family budget. BPAY reference details are on your monthly statement.

Annual Levy

The Annual Levy comprises of a Family Levy (per debtor) plus resource levies (per student).  Levies include:

School Based Levy (Per Debtor)

This supports the maintenance and development of the college’s facilities (buildings and grounds). Includes Textbook Hire scheme, stationery packs, excursions, camps, retreats and all compulsory year level events. Chromebooks are supplied for years 7 to 9.

Building Levy (Per Student)

This supports the maintenance and development of the college’s facilities (buildings and grounds). This is a compulsory levy and part of our fee structure and is therefore not tax deductible.

Concessions

Centrelink Healthcare Cards / Dept. of Veterans Affairs Health Cards

Eligible Health Care Cards / DVA Gold Cards attract a Tuition Fee concession of 70% (refer to TCEO Guidelines).  Not all cards are eligible - you must present a current Health Care / DVA Gold Card to the College Administration Office to have your eligibility assessed.

Multi-School Discounts

Multi-school discounts apply where you have children attending more than one school administered by the Townsville Catholic Education Office.  Please advise the Administration Office by emailing enquiries@mhoc.catholic.edu.au if you have other children attending other schools.

Other Fees

These fees will be additional to the stated fee schedule and may include such items as Instrumental Music Programs, Bus Fares, Senior Subject Certificate Courses and some Sport or Recreational Tours.
